Mussoorie is just 35 km away from the state capital of Dehradun. This is a famous hill station and romantic honeymoon destination in India. Nainital and Mussoorie are famous as honeymoon destination in Uttarakhand. At an altitude of 2005 Mts, Mussoorie offers excellent views of the Shivalik ranges and Doon valley. Major attractions are Kempty falls, cable car and Gun hill viewpoint, Clouds end and Happy valley. The Mall road is the centre of attraction where every tourist strolls in the evening. Lal Tibba, Camels back, Jharipani falls and Dhanaulti are other attraction which one can enjoy in Mussoorie.
Kanatal is very near to Mussoorie just 45 km away. But at the same time, it is not a typical touristy place. At an altitude of 2590 Mts Kanatal offers excellent weather, snowfall during winter months and lot many trekking options. Do not miss Surkhanda Devi temple which is just 2 km from the village. Small stroll along the thick Kodia jungle is highly recommended. Jungle safari by local jeet is must-do sightseeing. You may also visit Tehri dam, Dhanaulti and Chamba town.
Rishikesh is a Yoga capital of the world. It is located on the foothills of the Himalayas and this is a starting point for Chardham yatra to Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri and Gangotri. It has many ashrams on the banks of the Ganga river which are world known for their spiritual and Yoga studies. Rishikesh offers excellent weather throughout the year. Ganga river slows down here a bit and is not as wide as it gets in Haridwar. Ganga river has much colder waters even in summers and offers excellent white water rafting sites. Laxman Jhula, Geeta Bhavan, Parmarth Niketan Ashram are of interest to many pilgrims. This is just 50 km to Dehradun and 20 km to Haridwar.

Arrive at Delhi / Dehradun airport and transfer to Mussoorie by road. From Delhi, it will take approx 8 hrs. From Dehradun, it is just 2 hrs to the top. After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing of Mussoorie. Visit Kempty Fall (Situated on the hill tracks about 15 km from Mussoorie), Gun Hill, Lal Tibba (the second highest point here offering mesmerizing views), Mussoorie Lake, Buddha Temple, etc. You can simply walk on Camel’s back road which is a 4km stretch or stroll along the mall road. After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Kanatal. Kanatal has a very scenic setting surrounded by mountains and rivers, with breathtaking views and scenery. This town lies near Mussoorie, A few decades ago there was a small lake or taal (pond). When it dried up, people started calling it Kanatal & it has an average elevation of about 2590 meters. Visit Surkhanda temple and take a walk through Kodia Jungle, which is a dense forest area located at a distance of around one kilometre away from Kanatal. You can spot a few wild animals by taking a ride through the jungle in a jeep, and you can also see Tehri Dam and many natural springs that are quite prevalent in the region.
