Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive at Vienna

Arrive at Vienna and we shall transfer you to hotel by Pvt vehicle. Check in after 14:00 hrs. Day is free to explore Vienna - a Capital city on your own using Hop On Hop Off bus pass. Visit Mariahilfer Strasse a major shopping avenue in Vienna or stroll along the local Farmers market Naschmarkt. You must try Apple Strudel and Sacher Torte when you are in Vienna.

Day 2

Vienna sightseeing

Today enjoy half day city tour of Vienna. This guided tour shall give you insight into Viennas great culture and history. Main highlight of this tour will be visit to Schonbrunn Palace and its gardens. Post this tour you can explore Vienna using hop on hop off bus pass. You may visit Museum quarter, Mariahilfer strasse, Ringstrasse and Old town. You may also enjoy horse riding shows at Spanish riding school -optional.

Day 3

Vienna to Salzburg by train - 2.5 hrs

Check out and proceed to Vienna central station. Board a train from Vienna to Salzburg. Arrive at Salzburg and collect your Salzburg card from station premises by showing your voucher. With Salzburg card you have free unlimited travel on public transport such as trams and buses. You also shall have free access to cable car to Unterberg - a local mountain of Salzburg and funicular to Salzburg castle. Evening you may opt for an unforgettable Musical experience at Mozart concert including dinner.

Day 4

Saltmine and Lakes and Mountain tour

In first half of the day enjoy Saltmine tour. Take a breathtaking ride from the city of Salzburg into the Bavarian Alps along the Kings Lake-Ache up to the Obersalzberg, where the second headquarters of Third Reich used to be. Afterwards, the tour continues to its highlight – the 500 year old salt mines at Berchtesgaden. Slip into traditional miners’ clothes and take the miners’ train deep into the mountain. Experience the fascinating underground world of the salt-miners. Take the slides down to the salt lake which you will be crossing by boat. After this unique tour you will have the opportunity to explore the little picturesque town of Berchtesgaden tasting some Bavarian specialties.

After noon take a trip to the romantic Lake District Salzkammergut. The tour will leave Salzburg and pass by Lake Fuschl with castle Fuschl, now a five star hotel, on its shores. Explore the little town of St. Gilgen and enjoy a 45-minute boat ride to St. Wolfgang. At St. Wolfgang your guide will show you the famous pilgrimage church with its carved gothic winged altar by Michael Pacher. There will be some time to explore the picturesque town. We continue our journey along the Krottensee with castle Hüttenstein and drive along Lake Mondsee before we return to Salzburg.

Day 5

Salzburg - Innsbruck - Salzburg

Proceed to Salzburg station and board a train to Innsbruck which takes approx 2 hours. Explore Innsbruck using Innsbruck card which is a best way to visit many attractions of this capital city of Tyrol.  Visit Wattens which is famous for Swarovski Crystal world. You also shall visit Golden roof which is the center of this town. You have unlimited access to public trams and buses due to Innsbruck card. You also shall visit Nordkette cable car and funicular and Alpine zoo. If time permit take a scenic tram ride to Igls town at the outskirts of Innsbruck. Evening return to Salzburg.

Day 6

Salzburg to Rome approx 11 hours

Check out from hotel before 12:00. Keep your luggage at hotel store room and explore Salzburg with Salzburg card it includes free admission to the following attractions and museums: Cable-Car Untersberg Catacombs St Peter Cathedral Excavations Cathedral Museum Festival Halls Folklore Museum Georg Trakl Memorial Hellbrunn - Palace and Trick Fountains Hohensalzburg Fortress incl. Later proceed to station to board an overnight train to Rome. 

Day 7

Arrive at Rome

Arrive at Rome and we shall transfer you to hotel. Check in after 14:00 hrs. Day is free to explore Rome with Hop On Hop Off bus pass. You may explore main evening spots such as Spanish steps, Trevi fountain.

Day 8

Walking tour of Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, Colosseum and Roman Forum

Today your tour begins at the Vatican Museums where you’ll skip the lines and marvel the precious collections. Then see the world-renowned Sistine Chapel, spin in awe within the Raphael Rooms and walk along ancient sculptures, priceless paintings medieval maps, tapestries and archaeological relics. Then visit St. Peter’s Basilica, home to artistic masterworks including Michelangelo’s Pieta and the magnificent altar. Stand beneath one of the largest domes in the world and be awestruck by the ornate basilica. Then you have some free time to explore the cobblestone streets or have a Italian lunch on your own.

Then proceed to Colosseum meeting point and proceed to Colle Oppio ("Oppian Hill") to have a panoramic view of the Colosseum. Then we shall visit Colosseum from inside, where our expert guide will take you through the bloody past of the amphitheater as you listen to tales of gladiators and executions. Then visit Arch of Constantine, and arrive at the Palatine Hill - the most famous of the seven hills of Rome. From here you will admire the views of the Roman Forum. Evening is free to explore Rome on your own.

Day 10

Full Day Amalfi Coast tour

Today enjoy a full day tour of Amalfi coast with a luxury of your own PVT Van and English speaking driver cum guide. Visit Positano, Amalfi and Ravello.

POSITANO: The 5 star, chic hotspot for the rich and famous. Your driver will drop you right in the heart of Positano, giving you longer to wander the traffic free lanes, covered in magenta bougainvillea, lined with linen shops, art galleries and cafes. As you make you way down through the vertical town you will pass by the main church and finally arrive to the seafront of crystal blue, Mediterranean Sea.

AMALFI: The main town along the Amalfi Coast. Take a short stroll to admire the stunning cathedral of St. Andrew with its excellent examples of medieval architecture with Moorish influence, along with the adjacent Cloister of Paradise. Visit the local Cathedral, shopping alleys or simply enjoy a cool drink in the main Piazza, before meeting up again with your driver. Day 11

Capri & Anacapri Tour

Morning after breakfast proceed for a day trip to Capri. See the colorful island of Capri on this day trip from Sorrento. Take in the breeze of the Mediterranean as you cruise over to the island in a jet boat. Soak up some free time to explore the hilltop village of Anacapri independently, before heading over to the chic town of Capri with your guide. Enjoy a 1-hour walking tour, then opt to see the Blue Grotto or Faraglioni rock formations on your own. Your trip will conclude with transportation back to Sorrento.

Say Good bye
