Dalhousie is a high-altitude town spread across 5 hills near the Dhauladhar mountain range in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It's home to colonial-era buildings, including St. Francis and St. John’s churches, which date back to the rule of the British Raj in the 1800s. A trek up Dainkund Peak leads to Pholani Devi Temple. To the north, Subhash Baoli is a peaceful area with pine trees and panoramic views.

Arrive at Chandigarh - Shimla Distance 115km (Approx 3-4hrs)

Arrive at Chandigarh station / airport. Our representative shall welcome you and then transfer to Shimla. This will be approx 3 hrs drive - 115 kms. Arrive at Shimla and check into the hotel after 14:00 hrs. Day is free to explore Shimla on your own. Just relax or explore shopping options at Mall road.

Manali Local sightseeing

Full day sightseeing of Manali. Visit Hidimba Temple, Manu Temple, Tibetan monastery and at evening explore local market. You may try adventure sports such as Zorbing, river crossing etc on direct payment basis.

Manali - Rohtang pass

Today take an excursion to Snow Point (Excursion to Rohtang Pass). Please note you need to pay for Snow point / Rohtang pass excursion charges directly and are not included in your tour cost. Rohtang situated at an altitude of 3979 mtrs above sea level and 51 kms outside Manali is the gateway to Lahaul-Spiti valley. It affords a wide panoramic view of the mountains. Here one sees the majesty of the mountains at its height and splendour. Enjoy snow based activities at snow point. Please note vehicle will go only upto snow point and reaching Rohtang pass(Closed on Tuesday) is subject to weather conditions and local authority permission. Evening at Leisure.

Manali to Dharamshala - Distance - 260 km (Approx 7 to 8 hrs)

A distance of 260 kilometer on the way stopping at Baijnath known for its Shiva Temple and further at Palampur famous for Tea Garden. Dharamhsala is a hill-station lying on the spur of the Dhauladhar Mountains about 18 kms north-east of Kangra, It is known for its scenic beauty set amidst high pine and oak trees. Since 1960, when it became the temporary headquarters of His Holiness The Dalai Lama, Dharamshala has risen to international repute as “The Little Lhasa in India”. Overnight at hotel

Dalhousie Local sightseeing

Dalhousie has been named after the British Governor - General of the l9th century, Lord Dalhousie. Surrounded by varied vegetation - pines, dodders, oaks and flowering rhododendron. Local sightseeing of Dalhousie includes visit to Panjipula, Subhash Baoli and excursion to Khajjiar 24 km from Dalhousie surrounded by thick Deodar forest. Drive from Dalhousie to Khajjiar is awesome. Overnight at hotel
